The 2008 Chevy Malibu is proving itself to be one of the best vehicles that you will ever drive. It’s great on fuel economy and handsome on style. Lately the discussion that has been on everyone’s minds is the overall fuel economy of a vehicle; well this vehicle definitely puts the icing on the cake in that category.
You will be able to get an estimated 20-25 miles per gallon with the 2008 Chevy Malibu. This vehicle offers impeccable style accompanied with overwhelming refinement and of course excellent overall performance.
The Malibu comes in four different trim levels, or styles whichever you prefer to call the vehicle. There are the LS, 1LT, 2LT, as well as the LTZ. Each style has its own individual perks that allow it the opportunity to stand out from the other styles that the 2008 Chevy Malibu has to offer.
The LS style comes equipped with 16 inch steel wheels as well as a keyless entry. All of your accessories inside as well as out are full power accessories, and you also get an OnStar navigational system. With the 1LT the thing that makes this style different from the others is its steering wheel mounted audio controls along with its 17 inch alloy wheels. The 2LT style comes with a remote start engine, as well as adjustable pedals and seats that warm up.
The last style that is made for this particular year of Malibu is the LTZ also known as the luxury version of the vehicle. You will get 18 inch wheels with this vehicle, along with letter seating and a few additional things that the other styles may lack. Climate controls as well as a navigational system allow this particular style to stand out above all the rest.
All of the different styles of the 2008 Chevy Malibu are equipped with a standard V6 engine. However for extra fuel economy you have the option of selecting a 4 cylinder engine for your vehicle.
The Malibu scored a good rating in all of the safety tests that it has gone through. Their anti-lock brakes work excellent. The car comes equipped with both front side as well as passenger side airbags in case of a collision, and the LT as well as the LTZ versions enable you the opportunity to have increased stability control even in the most adverse situations.
The 2008 Chevy Malibu allows drivers the opportunity to engage in one of the smoothest rides they have ever experienced. Chevy has always been a trusted name on the market, and the 2008 Chevy Malibu is nothing short of all the excellent vehicles that Chevy avidly manufactures.

Posted by: | CommentsThe Ford Ranger was introduced into the market in 1983. The truck was first introduced as a replacement for the Courier, which had actually been produced by Mazda, but had the Ford name. The Ranger has been produced every year since then and remains one of the most popular sellers of Ford’s vehicles.
Although the bed of the Ranger is smaller than the standard sized Ford F-150, the design was originally made so that a four foot sheet of plywood would fit inside the bed. The sheet will have to ride on top of the wheel wells, but it will fit.
A look at the cab of the ranger will show you that it is truly only a two passenger vehicle, although some models were sold with fold down jump seats behind the front seats. These jump seats, really would only be acceptable for children and then on short trips and not a long road trip. The jump seats, however do allow the Ranger to be classified as a four passenger vehicle, and the bed allows for four foot material.
Throughout its production, the Ranger has been a successful vehicle for Ford. With over twenty five years of history, the Ranger remains a good seller. Body style for this truck is now into its fourth generation. The body style has changed as the body styles of the F-series trucks have changed.
The smaller size means better gas mileage and these trucks are very popular among commuters who enjoy driving a truck but still need the better gas mileage offered by the smaller truck.
The current Ranger is built with a 2. 3 liter or a 4. 0 liter engine. Although it was available in a V-6 engine in earlier models, the Ranger no longer offers this option.
When the Ranger was first introduced, it was one of many small trucks being sold. Today, the Ranger, along with its Mazda counter part is the only small truck on the market. Dodge and Toyota have increased the size of the Dakota and Tacoma to mid-sized trucks. Ford has promised to continue to make the Ranger until 2012, although the instability of the United States automakers could affect this promise.
Even though Ford has spent more marketing dollars on the Explorer series and the sales of Rangers has dropped over the past few years, with Toyota taking the lead with their larger Tacoma. Ford has continued to promise to make the Ranger and hopes that the increased demand for fuel economy will help sales.
Rumors have it that in 2012, Ford will replace the Ranger with a truck being manufactured in Australia that was originally designed for world markets other than the United States. Reports also say that this truck will have a much smaller 1. 6 liter engine with the option for a 3. 0 liter diesel engine only in Rangers sold outside of the United States.
The Ranger has been a popular truck for Ford for many years. It has offered economy along with the ability to haul items in a small truck. The engine sizes have slowly increased and now have once again began to decrease. Newer engine styles offer as much or more power with the smaller engines. With the uncertainty in the automaker’s future, it is hoped that Ford can continue to offer the Ford Ranger until it is able to offer other models to replace this good little truck.
